What to avoid

While it’s near impossible to keep your swimsuit out of the sun, where possible, avoid excessive exposure to light, sun and chlorine. Public heated pools and spas tend to have a high chlorine content to keep germs in check. The ocean and saltwater pools are ideal in terms of water quality for your swimsuit. Place a towel down before sitting on rough surfaces to avoid snags or pulls in your swimsuit.

After-care

After swimming rinse your swimsuit with fresh cold water and leave it to dry flat in the shade to keep it in top form. When storing swimwear, fold it and store it in a drawer in a warm and dry environment. Hanging is unnecessary and can stretch it needlessly.

After working as a Designer for luxury fashion brands in Sydney and Paris, Founder and Designer Nicole Banning saw a stylistic gap in the swimwear market and felt called to conceive Ephemera.

Founded in 2012, Nicole set out on a mission to create a thoughtfully designed swimwear collection that supported and enhanced the female form with an enduringly refined sensibility. Discreet structure, double bound straps and considered design lines are foundational elements of the collection. Ephemera was conceived to enhance the female body with a light-handed approach, and to ensure women look great and always feel their best.
